Since Levi graduated in May and I just recently graduated, we decided to go on a trip instead of giving each other gifts. We decided to go to Florida, where it was nice and warm. We spent a couple of nights in Fort Lauderdale, then a two day cruise to the Bahamas, and then three nights in Orlando. We went to the beach, went on an airboat ride in the everglades, went to Universal Studios, and did lots of shopping. We had great time. It was fun to get away from work and school and to have just the two of us together. We got back on the 23rd and then the 24th we went to Delta. We had a great Christmas. Our parents gave us way more than we deserved. My parents gave us a to trip to New Orleans to watch the Sugar Bowl and Levi's parents gave us a big, huge down comforter and table and chairs for outside. Levi gave me new dress clothes and a new game for our Wii. Levi got some new clothes as well and a new suit. We were able to stay in Delta until Sunday. We went tubbing on Friday and Saturday we went to Provo to go shopping. Overall, we have had a great couple of weeks. I also added pictures from my New York trip with the girls in my family.

Graduation, Oh So Sweet! And Say Bye to Levi's Truck

Well the last couple of days have been interesting. Well I guess we will do the bad news first. Levi's truck started on fire last night. No joke! He went to one of his friend's house for a seminar. He was in the house for like 5 minutes, when a kid knocked on the door and informed the group that a truck was on fire. Levi ran out and sure enough, it was his truck. He saw 15 foot flames coming from the hood of his truck. They called the fire department and the fire department had to pry open the hood, because it was melted shut. It ended up burning the whole engine. It didn't burn anything in the cab, but it smells really bad. It smells like burnt plastic and rubber. The fire department thinks it was an electrical problem. The weird thing is that Levi's truck was a 2005 GMC with only 45,000 miles on it. So we are hoping they total the truck and then we will deal with a new truck later. I would say that we ran into a little bad luck. Levi was so sad. He didn't sleep an ounce last night.
Second, I finally graduate with my bachelors in accounting this semester! It feels so good to graduate. But unfortunately, I am not done yet. I am starting next semester on my masters of accountancy. This will only take a year. So next fall I will be done for good. I will then take the CPA exam. So I still have a few more items of business to complete.

I'm Back!!!
So I have been a slacker. This past month has been so crazy. Well I will try to sum up the month of November in this post. First, Levi and I got to go to the Utah game with my family. Levi and I sat in the red zone with all of the crazy Utah fans. It was so much fun. We were laughing the whole time! It was awesome to see the Utes KILL byu! Go Utes!
I also had a disappointing time in November. Last year in November, I heard that Celine Dion was performing in Salt Lake November 2008, so my cousin Katie and I bought tickets a year in advance. We have been so excited for it. Well it turns out that the week of the concert, she had problems with her voice or something and had to cancel the concert. That was the biggest disappointment ever! She did reschedule the concert, but I will not be able to go to it. I am very frustrated about this!
The month of November did however end up being a great month. For any of you who didn't know, my mom, Danielle, Kellie and I got to go to New York the weekend after Thanksgiving. It was so much fun! It was crazy there! There were so many people! I have been to New York before, but this time it was busier. We went shopping on black Friday! Wow! Talk about nuts! Then on Saturday, Kellie, Danielle, and I went to Hairspray the musical. It was so cute. Then Sunday we did a dinner cruise around Manhattan. It was neat. So funny story, we had just finished our dinner and we noticed that there was a dance floor. Several people were dancing, and my mom talked me into dancing. Well they play the Boot, Scoot and Boogie. Well apparently, people back east don't know how to do the line dance. So my mom, Danielle, and I were the only ones on the dance floor. And of course, I was getting into it. I was twirling around in the grapevine, kicking my legs up, and doing heel clicks on the turns. Well I was kicking my legs when all of sudden my shoe goes flying off my foot. It was a straight shot at the DJ. Luckily he moved his head and it barely missed. I was so embarrassed. I know, me embarrassed. So I ran and grabbed my shoe and of course started dancing again.
So the month of November was pretty good for the most part. I can't wait for Christmas though. We get to go to Delta and Levi gets to try Sweet Bacon! He is so excited, let me tell ya!

Halloween
This year for Halloween we went to Jenny and Kory's house. It was such a blast! Levi and I didn't know what we were going to dress up as. But at the last minute we went and bought some big pants and a big shirt. He got in one leg and I got in the other and then we shoved some pillows in our shirt. We got pretty good at walking.

World's Longest Drive Championship
Last week Levi and I had no clue what we were going to do for the weekend. We had a few ideas, but nothing to spectacular. Well on Friday night, Levi's boss John called Levi and asked him if we would like to go to the World's Longest Drive Championship. John told us that the tickets were VIP passes and that he had a suite for us to stay in at the Casablanca. So of course, we took the tickets. It was so sweet! There was a VIP tent that had all of this food. And then, since we don't drink, they had IBC rootbeer. I have never drank so much rootbeer in my entire life. We had a blast. The guys competing at this event were amazing. They all drove the ball over 400 yards. The winner ended up driving the ball 418 yards. He was only 20 years and was like 5'11'', maybe 160 pounds. He was a little guy, but he was good. Then we went back to our hotel and enjoyed the suite life. So what could of been a boring weekend, ended up being an awesome weekend.
This is the Longest Drive Champion!
This is the champion driving it 418 yards.

Driving in the Snow
Well these last couple of weekends has been fun. I got the opportunity to go to conference with my family. Levi went elk hunting with the boys in his family and I decided to go with my family to Salt Lake. My family went to the Sunday afternoon session. It was really neat. There was tons of people there.
Well this last weekend I went to Delta to watch Kellie play in her volleyball tournament. Kellie's team won the tournament. She played really well. It was really fun to watch her. Well I went home on Saturday night after the tournament. I was driving back to Cedar, and right before I got to the lime plant, I realized that I was completely out of gas! Like I had less than 35 miles left of gas. So I decided it would be better to run out of gas by Delta, instead of by Milford. So I turned around and headed back to Delta to fill up my car. Well I filled up my car, and by the time I got back on the roads, it was a blizzard. And of course whenever I travel, it is always bad weather. So I was going like 30 mph on the Milford road, when really I should have been flying home. (very frustrating). Well after a 3 hour trip from Delta to Cedar, which normally takes 1 hour and 45 minutes, I made it home. Thats when I realized I only like the snow, when I am at home, not driving.

Finally Starting a Blog!!!
Well after being harassed for not having a blog, I finally started one. And for those who say it is easy, it was not. I found it difficult, but I am learning. I haven' t told Levi that we have a blog. He will find it as a surprise, like most things that I do. Levi and I are down in Cedar City. Levi graduated with his bachelors of accountancy last May, and now he is working for Beneficial Financial Group. He does retirement planning and life insurance and many other things. I don't really understand it all, but I know that he is really good it. I am in my last semester of my bachelors of accountancy. In the spring semester, I start the masters of accountancy. Hopefully, I can get school done. I am already burned out and I am only 20 years old!
