Addie's Blessing Day!!!

Well this last weekend we blessed Addie. It was so good. My family came down and stayed in St. George for the weekend. We were able to hang out with them and had a good time. We blessed Addie in our ward and Levi did such a good job. It was so neat to see the boys in our family go up to the circle.

I do have to say though it was not the most perfect day. Everything was good starting out. Addie was smiling and she had slept through the night, but as soon as we put on the blessing dress everything came crashing down. She immediately spit up all over the dress and she was not happy. We finally got her calmed down at the church and the minute Levi takes her to go bless her, she starts to cry. 10 minutes after her blessing she feel asleep. I swear that is how life goes. But overall it was a great day!

1 Month Old!

So I just wanted to update. Addie turned 1 month old this week. She is becoming more and more alert. Yesterday she smiled for the first time (well really smiled, not just a random thing). She is getting cuter and cuter. I also have a picture of her zebra print skirt. I loving being a mom except I could do without the spit up all over me.

Welcome Addie K Larson

So I am slow on my posting but I have finally have my pictures together for our little girl. Her name is Addie K Larson. She was born on July 24th at 2:26 pm. She weighed 6 pounds and 15 ounces and was 20 inches long. She was born with lots of hair, which has been fun. She is a good baby. I really can't complain much. We have had a couple of rough nights because she had her nights and days mixed up, but other than that she only wakes up once or twice a night.

My labor was not the greatest and I won't go into details because if anyone is pregnant I don't want to give them any horror stories. I think that is rude. But I will say it was not fun. Thank goodness for Levi's cousin McKell. She was my nurse and was the best nurse. I feel bad that I was not the best patient. I am a wimp and I don't do pain well. But I do have to say that I love the epidural. It is my best friend. My labor was long and the baby's heart rate was pretty high. So when she was born she had to be put on oxygen. She did really well with it though and after several hours, we were able to take her off of it and she has been just fine ever since. She did get a little bit of Jaundice. But we put her under the lights for a few days and she was fine.

I can't believe we have a baby. It is kind of wierd to look down at this baby and to think that it is yours. But I love her so much. Levi loves her too. She has him wrapped around her finger. He comes home and just gives her kisses. It is so cute. He is so protective of her. A father instinct.

Well this week I got to go to Delta for the first time with her and we had a great time. We got to see the grandparents and friends and other family members. I was so glad we got to go.

Yesterday was Levi's birthday. So we celebrated it with his family. They came over and we had brownies and ice cream. So far we have been pretty busy since we have had this baby but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Updated Nursery Pictures

Well we finally finished the nursery for the baby last weekend. It turned out really cute. I am so excited. We now just need a baby to put in there. But she is taking her sweet time. She is definitely not on my time schedule. Here are some pictures of the nursery.

Our Nursery!!

Well this last weekend I put my dad and Levi to work. I had them paint my nursery. My dad did most of the painting but Levi helped. I had them do argyles on one wall where the crib goes. They did a light pink on all of the walls and then did green argyles on the one wall. I think they wanted to kill me, but it turned out so cute. They did a good job. I will put more pictures up of the nursery once we get all of the furniture in there and the decorations up, but I had to show my argyle wall.

Last and Final Graduation!

Well I am a little slow on posting, but I thought I would post my final graduation. A few weeks ago I walked at my last graduation. I actually graduated in December but walked in May. It was fun. My parents came down and spent the weekend with us. Here is a picture of me with my wonderful supportive husband.
